The Alpha Sentinel ABEK1 gas filters are designed for use with the Skytec Alpha Sentinel Half Mask and Alpha Sentinel Full Face Respiratory Mask, providing reliable protection against a wide range of hazardous gases and vapours. This includes organic gases and vapours (boiling point >65°C), inorganic gases and vapours, sulphur dioxide and other acidic gases, as well as ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives.
Suitable for a broad range of industries, these filters are ideal for use in construction, chemical handling, painting and decorating, maintenance, agriculture, and industrial cleaning environments. For applications where both gas and particulate protection is required, the ABEK1 filters can be combined with P3P particulate filters to create a combination filter, delivering comprehensive respiratory protection.
The ABEK1 filters help protect against gases and vapours including resins, solvent-based paints (when applied by brush), chemical paint stripping, heat paint stripping, white spirit, chlorine, brick acid, sulphur dioxide and ammonia.. For spray painting and tasks generating airborne particles, a combination filter such as ABEK1 + P3P is recommended to ensure both particulate and gas protection.
